Flatbed vs Wheel-Lift Towing

Flatbed towing carries all four wheels off the ground and is the safest option for AWD, 4WD, luxury, lowered, and electric vehicles. Wheel-lift is fine for many standard front- or rear-wheel-drive cars on short hauls.

How each method works

A flatbed loads your whole vehicle onto a level platform. A wheel-lift raises two wheels while the other two roll on the road.
